at-least 25000 direct employees of various skills and trades, also
side-by-side massive ancillary and vendoring industry shall also
sprung-up along –with this novel project
The Board of Revenue has
earmarked 17000 acres of land at Dhabeji to be developed into new
industrial estate not far only 19 K.M from Port Qasim ensuring free
flow of goods to & from Dhabeji industrial area. Prime Transport
Limited has already submitted expression of interest to install
their manufacturing units at this venue and feel that this could be
ideal place for a manufacturing unit to be installed for others to
also follow the lead. As the entire operation shall be satellite
control Taxi service, which will be aided with call centers for
controlling dispatch of vehicles accompanied by a technical training
institute for technical and operational staff. A residential colony
shall also be erected to house labour workforce to avoid commutation
of long distances. In addition a power generation plant with up to
date water supplying facilities for the entire operation shall also
be provided before the project is commissioned
Finally the Honorable Governor
gave a patient hearing and expressed his desire to visit the site a
Dhabeji to have complete picture of the area, which will be a unique
new industrial city in the heart of Karachi Metropolis with enabling
landscaping for the purpose. In the end he also instructed Members (L.U)
to expedite the matter of allotment of land on track basis, so that
prospective investors, Industrialists and businessmen can decide to
start new ventures and he was of firm opinion that new industrial
city shall prove to be great success.
